Frequently Asked Questions

Have a Question?

Can I get divorced in Serbia without traveling there?

Yes, in most cases this can be done through a power of attorney. You have the document notarized here in the U.S. or at the Serbian consulate, and we handle the rest.

How long does a divorce take in Serbia?

An uncontested divorce typically takes 2–4 months. A contested divorce (without an agreement) can take 6–12 months or longer.

Is a Serbian judgment recognized in the United States?

Not automatically - a separate recognition proceeding is required. We help with that step as well.

How much does a divorce in Serbia cost?

Our fees for an uncontested divorce start at $750. More complex cases are quoted individually. All costs are disclosed transparently upfront.

Do you speak Serbian?

Yes. We communicate in both Serbian and English.
